Simon-Anthony Rhoden trained at LAMDA, graduating with a BA hons in acting in 2009. Her 2022 single “God’s Best” was the R&B/Soul winner of a Step Fwd Award. Shan has a degree in Music Business is a previous winner of the “Project Aloft: Star” for emerging artists won the Best Performer in a Musical at The Stage Debut Awards in 2020 for her portrayal of Eponine in the West End’s Les Misérables and in 2021 received a National Diversity Awards nomination in the Positive Role Model category. Drawing on influences from soul, gospel, pop, R&B, jazz, folk, and reggae, she began releasing self-produced music as a teenager, writing lyrics to provide inspiration to young people. Joining the list of Brit School alumni is London-based singer/songwriter and guitarist Shan Ako.
